As of May 12, 2009 the Suri Llama Association & Registry has closed for business.

If you are new to Suri Llamas and interested in learning more about them please visit the Member Directory and contact a Suri Llama Breeder in your area. They will be happy to hear from you and would be delighted to share their knowledge and passion of Suri Llamas!

In an effort to provide customer service, we will continue to host this SLA website - www.surillama.com, as well as the Suri Llama Marketplace - www.surillamamarketplace.com until November 30, 2009.

A project that SLA has worked extremely hard on was to launch the SLA Database. It is with great pleasure and a heavy heart that we offer you access to the Suri Llama Association and Registry Database. We hope that you will take advantage and benefit from all of the information the Database has to offer! All of those who are current and past SLA members - you have access to the SLA Database until December 31, 2009. To gain access to the SLA Database please follow the directions below.

To log in to the SLA Tracking Database, click here.

Enter your valid ILR owner code that has been registered with the Suri Llama Association. Then enter the password - SLA (please make sure that you enter SLA in all capital letters).

If the database times out, you can re-enter it by clicking on the original link or by selecting the "SRI Suri Llamas IWP" link.

Once you are in the database, there are three (3) menus from which you can search for llama, keuring, and owner information.

The Suri Llama Association & Registry is dedicated to preserving and improving the purity of the suri llama breed, to supporting its membership by maintaining an authoritative suri llama breed standard and registry, and to educate, promote, and build alliances in the llama community.

Statement of Purpose

Preserve the suri llama as a distinct breed.
Promote the suri llama.
Conduct keuring inspections to ensure breed integrity.
Maintain a comprehensive breed standard.
Maintain a Suri Llama & Bloodstock Registry.
Bring suri llama breeders together to share information.
Work together to develop breeding strategies to improve the suri llama.
Aid other llama breed associations in development efforts.
Support the llama community as a whole.
Act as a source of information for other llama organizations.
