The saga of producing our own raw honey

Bears love beehives (don't we all), and there are bears now roaming in our area! That's a first for us in farming this location for the last 28 years! After all the bee farmers (called Apiarists) have been through with hive collapse, interference with bees returning to their hives (they fly 3-5 miles), and thoughtless use of pesticides, the bear is an equally formidable opponent. Thus, we have been busy putting up bear fence! Our hives are doing well, and our hive expansion and honey supply has blossomed.
