A suri llama may be keured as Permanent at any age and at
any time providing it:
A. Measures 40"
or more at the withers,
B. Has been shorn
at least once with minimum 2-3 inches of regrowth, and
C. Exhibits suri
lock characteristics in regrowth.
If previously keured as Qualified, that status remains until
the llama returns for a subsequent keuring inspection for
Permanent status. If the llama passes the keuring process
it gains entry into the SLA Registry as a Permanent Suri Llama
and is eligible for all Keuring awards.
